Word labels
Many of these words are likely to offend. This page lists slurs, sexual terms and insults exactly as Apple's dictionary records them.
Besides the phrase list, the keyboard's English dictionary tags single words with one of three labels: vulgar, offensive or sensitive. The keyboard still knows these words and accepts them when you type them, but it holds back from suggesting them.
What each label does
- VVulgarNot suggested until you've typed the word yourself three times.
- OOffensiveNever suggested, however often you type it.
- SSensitiveNever offered as a prediction or completion. Some are held back in swipe typing too.
